Processing and shaping
of PVC sheathing
The next step is the production of the insulator used to coat the copper wires. The raw materials for the product are sourced from renowned manufacturers like Finolex and Reliance to maintain product consistency. Various powdered polymers are mixed to form a uniform powder, which gets moulded into a tube shape and finally cut down into fine granules.

The process begins with the transformation of 99.96% pure bright annealed electrolytic copper into 0.3 mm thick wires, using state-of-the-art Niehoff machines to ensure precision. Based on industry-specific applications some of the wires are further pulled to attain 0.27-0.26mm diameter. These wires are then twisted together to form stranded copper which forms the core of the finished wires.

The last stage is the bonding of the copper wire with the PVC granules, through the use of Supermac Extruder machines, which are widely regarded as the industry benchmark when it comes to sheathing. The polymer granules are mixed with liquids and agents to create a paste under high temperature. This paste is used to coat the thin copper wires and the insulated wire is finally cooled with water to form the final product.
